He has been invited to come to all the futiure gatherings. He came to F60 celebrations with his entire family courtesy of Ferrari.

No, Mike Coughlan and the rest of the McLaren personels that were involved did that. They guaranteed it the very sec. they gave into their temptation and accepted Stepney's offer.

Ron Dennis is going to invite him to McLaren right after, because they just love whistle blowers. Maybe they should give him a SLR to thank him for what he did.

 

Maybe they will make him a Director of copy paper supplies. And let him wear a red suit and live in the new Ferrari Town house complex.

It'll be easy to recognize: it will be the rosso corsa 599 parked at the copy shop just down the street from the Maclaren headquarters, with the sides all keyed up, all the windows busted, and all four tires slashed by the locals, who presumably are more loyal to Mclaren than they are to Ferrari.

The only thing I don't get is how that guy contacted Ferrari. I haven't figured it out, or even a possibility. I mean, he couldn't have just looked up their number in the phone book, called Ferrari, someone picked up, and he said "Hi, I have you dossier here at a photocopy shop. Surely something is wrong."

Whoever he called at Ferrari (dealer? British importer?), if you are the one on the other end of the line and someone says "Hello, I'm working at a copyshop in Woking, ya know, where McLaren is, and some guy gave me a bunch of pages with the Ferrari logo to copy" - wouldn't you at least forward the message to whoever you might know in Maranello?

 

Or just fax a page over to Maranello, I am sure that will get the alarm pulled immediately.

 

Could it be Ferrari set the whole thing up in the first place or already knew and let it go on,..knowing full well Mc would take the bait.

We will probably never know although it will be interesting to see what happens to Stepney.
