If I remember correctly there was a posting in the yahoo group Maseraticars (no longer accessible) concerning an improvement avoiding fuel into the oil problem on the early type Lucas Injection found on the Sebring series 1 model.

In the discussion there was a write-up from a genious person (I do not remember his name) on a modification to the metering unit.

Anyone remebering this write-up and having access to it?

    Thanks,

Hi. There is a thread specifically about the intricacies of the Lucas injection and it’s foibles here:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/lucas-fuel-injection.227298/

I have no direct experience of the system, but many people with considerable technical expertise contributed to the thread.
I think post #31 by Gene O‘Gorman may be the thing you need.

    Best regards and happy reading.

Yes, I figured out later that there is already a thread and a posting (#58) covering what I was looking for. I guess I should have searched the forum better prior to starting this one.
    Thanks anyway,
