Lots of bad luck in the past week or so with the EC gang, Pchop, Hubert, JC, Vik and myself... either had mishap with the car, or got tickets up the arse.

So last night I was driving the F355 on Cross Island pkway, behind some old Impala which was doing 55 in fast lane, I highbeamed him and nothing, so once the middle lane opened, I downshifted and hammered it, rev through 3rd and 4th before I let off gas, feelin great, that's when I see the lights flashing way behind. I pulled over eventually, it was that old Impala, some older guy came out to my window, with badge in left hand, and right hand on his gun. He asked me if I want a ticket or being arrested, I said hopfully neither. He asked why did I go so fast. I told him honestly that I was frustrated being blocked behind him so once I was free I gunned it.
He surprised me by telling me: I am not going to give you a ticket or arrest you, you have a very nice car, I am sure you think you are a great driver and you probably are, but please be safe, for yourself and other ppl on the road, and for the ones who love you at home. So enjoy the car but be safe. Right there I was free, could not believe it.

Hope this is a turning point for our luck, so EC playas can pimp without trouble.

well what a co incedentce i to was driving home last night was behind a crown victorianwas agrovated that he was driving to slo so i jumped in the right lane down shifted 3erd all the way up to 5th iwas going at least 140 there was a light up front so i slowed down and stoped the crown vic cought up to me at the light and no lights just a werp of his siren and a flash of his badge. My heart stoped he then replyed what the fuvck are you doing i said there was a wide stretch of road and saw it was clear to open her up a bit. I then told him that i just got the car yesterday and was just seeing what it could do i did not mean any harm and i am truly sorry. His reply was just take a guess at how fast you were going and dont you dare lie. I said around 130 kicking myself in the ass as i said that. He smiled and said you are correct now take that car home and dont break the speed limit again until tommorow.

WOW i was in such shock that when the light tured green i just stayed there in awe.

    Lucked out again

That's funny that you both had similar things happen. I do think that doing 55 on the Cross Island is probably more dangerous than what you were doing. Chris, what time did this happen? I was on the Cross Island heading from the Belt up to 495 around 7:30pm yesterday.

    great stories dude....
hopefully the bad luck tide has turned.

i have a fortuntate story for myself tonite as well :) (but not so fortunate for someone else :( ).....

was leaving a bar and saw cops write a ticket for no front plate for another car.....i hurried to see if i got one too. The cop yelled at me something to the extent "you will never get a no-front plate ticket because of that (he was pointing to my police shield that i had attached to my windshield)".

i gave the 2 cops a thumbs up....said thank you sir...and went on my own way.

    :) (big-L...thank you :))
