    So who thinks this 14 year old boy who had sex with his 23 year old teacher will be messed up for life? I am thinking dam nothing like that ever happened to me, Double standards, I guess so. Check out the police report from smoking gun, is pretty graphic

    TAMPA - The Temple Terrace teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old will turn herself in to deputies on Monday to face new accusations of having sex with a teenager.

    Officials in Marion County told ABC Action News they had been planning to issue a warrant for Debra Lafave's arrest next week, but the 23-year-old teacher agreed to turn herself in voluntarily in Ocala before then.

    Lafave will face three additional felony counts relating to her alleged sexual activity with the teenager, including lewd and lascivious battery, along with exhibition. The charges stem from an October sexual liaison that investigators believe Lafave had with the 14-year-old in Marion County that was witnessed by the teen's 15-year-old cousin.



    "The student had come to Ocala to visit with a cousin, and the teacher traveled to Ocala from her home and met with the student and also his cousin. Some of the activities took place in front of the cousin," alleged Sue Livoti of the Marion County Sheriff's Office. "All the contact has been sexual in nature."

    In Hillsborough County, the Greco Middle School reading teacher already faced two counts of lewd and lascivious battery for allegedly having sex with the teen at school.

    Friday, no one answered the door at the home where Lafave is reportedly staying, and her family was unavailable for comment.

    Lafave has now been ordered to stay away from the teenager and his cousin.

    When i was 14 i would liked to have sex with one of my teachers, but look at it the other way around what if the 14 year old was female and the teacher a 23 year old male?

    The thing was that it was consensual so she cant into that much trouble. Just a short two years ago i was 14 and when you are 14 all you think about is sex, thats it. I would have killed to have sex with some of my teachers over the years, i consider him really lucky.

    For a moment there...     i don't know how i feel about this...

    It's almost a GUARANTEE that this kid was in heaven when he was having sex with his teacher... Nevertheless, statutory rape DOES apply here since he's well under the legal age...

    ...so that makes her a child molester.


    i remember having sex with one of my school counselors, but i was 19... Totally different ballgame...

    When i was 17, i had sex with (and dated for 8 months) my boss at the time... She was a teacher in every sense of the word... :D

    I think this babe is gonna play a game of rock hockey in the big arena for a LONG time....

    I don't think she will see jail time, Seems she is a mess right now, caught a little bit of her story on inside edition and something about a sister just getting killed in a car accident. I maybe using double standards but while she definitely broke the law I don't think she harmed him in any way. Would have been a lot different if the genders were reversed or she forced him to do something he did not want to do or she was like 50. she has to have some problems I mean she could have gone out and picked up some 18 year old in second if she just wanted sex. My first wife was 14 and I was 17 when we started dating so we had a few years of what would be considered statutory rape and this scenario goes on every where on a daily basis. Her life is for the most part ruined right now, Her marriage probably over, Teaching career is history. So would think jail time would be a little over kill

    Sorry I don't argee. Use the same situation and reverse the roles. Man would be in jail faster then a Schumacher lap time. No matter what the mans problems were. I'm so sick an tired of men always getting more severe punishments for the same crimes. What happend to the law being equal for everyone? This women is sick and needs to be throwen in the can. I don't care if there was a car accident. What she did was wrong period and there are consiquences of those actions.

    But I must admit..the boy will no doubt be the most popular guy in the school next year. And yes this will not harm him for life.
