I can't find a torque spec for my wheel lug nuts..
I hadn't had the wheels off for years. took them off after car was painted in order to paint the rims .. Noted some lug nuts were very difficult to remove.. BUT when attempting to put back on, they were extremely difficult to turn.. taking 20-30 ft-lbs to just move the lug nut! I can only guess that the painter took the wheels off when painting.. And put on haphazardly with the dreaded AIR IMPACT WRENCH.. ??? I ordered 6 large and 6 small lug nuts to appease my concern (I had to grind off the first couple munged-up threads on 2 nuts, just to get them on!).. .

    Thanks, Jim :D

72 lb/ft. It should be in the owners manual, as well as the workshop manual. They are bolts, not nuts.

The specification is 100Nm, not 100ft/lb. If you torque them to 100ft/lb, you are going to be sorry. 100Nm works out to 72 ft/lb. You can torque them to 80 ft/lb if you want a little extra insurance.
