what about the red centres i've seen on some 599's and Scud's
I wonder if a really great suction cup could yank them out so you don't have to destroy them? I will have to see if I have a strong suction cup floating around here some place. If not, maybe I can pickup one when I'm in town. I have to run into town tomorrow because my new floor jack arrived :-D Ray
Good to see you back Ray with regular posts. Good to have here another skilled person. Tired of your R1? Petr
no, I've just been in front of the computer a lot more recently working on our new site (www.daytrader.com). I'm actually still trying to sell the 360, but I need to do the 15K service on it first. I've got a bunch of tools and parts coming so I can bring it up to snuff. Once I do that, then I'm going to try selling it again. That's the other reason I have been on Ferrarchat.com a lot lately, because I have been researching which gear oil to use, etc But yeah, still enjoying the R1. I need to break out my welder and build a front stand for it so I can take the front wheel off. I need to static balance it because the front seems a little unstable at certain speeds. If you give it too much gas and pull the front tire up going 70 or 80 MPH, then the head shakes and I believe it's due to an improperly balanced front rim/tire. Anyway, a good clean static balance of the rim and then the rim with the tire on should fix it. The R1 is still my favorite ride for the moment I do have my eyes on an F40 down the road, but it will be a while I think. Hopefully the prices will come down over the next few years. I still see people on ebay dreaming about selling F40's for $500K plus. I think over the next few years the prices will drop back into the sub $350K range. If that happens, then I might try to find a nicely modified F40 to buy. Do you ride motorcycles? Ray

Yeah, F40 is stunning car for sure. Good luck with sale. I also do some maintenance on my 360. Changing all fluids, brake pads, brake discs (just machined them) and propably will change also clutch since min has about 90%...... also need to replace transmission mount. Winter is long and i want to be ready for spring. My friend used to have R6 and switched to R1. Its great bike. However i have big respect to sport bikes, i know for sure i will never own one or even ride one, i would kill myself.... But i love bikes. I own HD Rocker C which i bought just in January and currently i am making lot of mods. My intention is to have rebel bike with soft chopper feeling... To raise bike, i purchased motocycle lift for about 220 usd which give me opportunity to get wheels off floor. Of course not sure how is balance of R1 and if such lift would be useful. damn, we are off topic. i want that lugs guys!
okay, a suction cup that provides 3 lbs of force will not work to remove the center caps. Using a suction cup attached to a vacuum pump will also not work So either remove the wheels and get them out from the back side or use the drill trick with the screw. Ray
Still no reply from the manufacturer! Maybe my email has got stuck in their spam filter, can someone else squirt them an email? Grazie.

No reply regarding the bolts as yet, but I've just posted the Ti wheel centre's up again on FerrariAds here.
Put me down for a set as well, looks like all of us just got our Stradale wheels. Mine is arriving this Thursday, will install it this weekend. Anyone got a set painted the Scud wheel color? I am thinking of doing that on my set.
No probs Ken . I still haven't heard back from the manufacturer after sending two emails (and I've double checked my spam filter) .
Modular, Hamann PG3, Strad wheels! It was raining today so I changed it in the garage, will take some more pictures on better days. The car will look lower when the wheels rotate out of the garage. I love the looks of these wheels, the car looks faster just sitting there. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great Ken Still no reply from the manufacturer re the bolts, anyone else care to shoot them an email?

* UPDATE * Email reply finally received from the manufacturer: "In respect of your kind message, we do have some of those wheel lugs in stock, each pack (20 pcs.) is 600 with a free TORX key included." What do you think?
