lukek is in town, so lets have a lunch. Addison this time, location TBD. 11:30. Who's in? I'll be working, so I can come up from Dallas. I think Scott Amis (330 2+2) will be there too.
don't worry, I will not do a lunch slideshow...I will also park the kids at my parents (if you ever need to know more about physics, talk to my dad at UNT, or if you have kids, my mom runs the best pediatric office in the Mid Cities !) luke
I'll be there! I "knew" lukek from Tom's site before I was a FerrariChat addict. You might even say Tomyang.net was like a gateway drug. Hope it's a nice day weather-wise so I can finally see "bluecat49"'s ride
Hey Chris Fisher, what's the name of that resteraunt we ate at? Fairly new on North side of Beltline. Same chain on 35E too. Actually, Dan Marlett, your X girlfriend that was a teacher worked there part time. Greg and I ran into her having a beer after a Bob Smith run last year.
I can make it I think. BJ's is pretty decent. I've eaten there 3 times and had the meatball sub every time. my waistline shows it too.
sounds good, as long as they also have some stuff for pre-middle age cholestrol watching wusses like me... Looking forward to being back in Texas. I have fond memories of the 6 years I spent there in the 80s.
I'll be there, in my 330 if weather permits (no rain, snow, ice, or subfreezing temps). I need to take advantage of the next warm afternoon, clean it up, and then keep the car cover on. I'm looking foward to seeing all of you, whether I can bring my car or not. Later, Scott

I'm in! I'll probably have my silver spyder as Rodney will have the Ferrari. First event of the New Year!
I should be ableto make it, if you need another vehicle. Assuming the weather is cooperative and the blasted garage door opener behaves!
Back from Wills Point today, where the closest Starbucks was an hour away. The horror ! Bedford seems to have at least two. The donkeys, sunsets, and tractor rides were all fine at the in-laws', but it is good to be back in civilization. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the 3rd. Happy New Year to all in the meantime. Personally, I am Dallas bound (after wife and I settle the kids at my parents' place). The plan (thanks again for suggestions from this group): Nikita's for dinner, and the Gypsy Tea Room for a show after that (Burden Brothers). Ciao.
I just now signed on here to request directions-thanks, Jim. It looks like my 330 will be staying in the garage on Monday. I had looked forward to bringing it, but don't take it out in questionable weather unless just a mile or two from home. The fourdoor '96 Mercury Grand Marquis is the closest thing to another Ferrari that I have - it does have four wheels and will move on out when you push it.
David, it doen't look promising at all from where I'm sitting and the forecasts-was hoping for a change. I spent a good 4 hrs. the week before Christmas getting it spiffed up, and that was just the exterior and wire wheels-I'm disappointed that I won't be able to bring it but, yes, you will see it before too long.
