I know this is last minute, but...

We're going to be in Englewood tomorrow to look at a car.

My wife travels on her stomach. I'm looking for restaurant suggestions between Englewood and the airport.

    Thanks!

We'll be at Mariposa just north of Oxford.

She's a foodie, she'll want something done well.
Doesn't matter what it is. Doesn't have to be high end.
    A dive is ok.

Just would like to avoid airport food if we have the time.

There is a little mexican food place very close by called The South. Its owned my an ex-football player that played for the Broncos years ago. It's a little dive bar/restaurant. I have been eating there since I was kid, so about 25 years. Food is pretty good, portions are good size.

I’ll post more when I think of them.

Undici, right south/ south east of Swedish hospital, good Italian food. I've not done lunch there, but dinner was excellent.

There are also a bunch of lunch places right next to Swedish, more toward the SW corner, that cater to the hospital lunch crowd (who has time to leave their job and goto work from a hospital? I sure don't, but I work nights!).

There is a phenomenal small, privately run Thai restaurant right across from Swedish if you like proper/traditional Thai food - just FYI

Thanks for the suggestions! Where else but Fchat could this happen?

Anyhow, after the snow started falling we beat feet (slowly) back to the airport and ate a meal at Timberline Steakhouse. Not bad...
But, have you ever tried to eat a piece of meat with plastic?

Anyhow, thanks again for your help.
