First time on the forum. Great to see you guys are open to all enthusiasts, as thats how it should be. My name is Nicholas I am nine teen years old. Work for a prefabricated building company. and do sales and autoCAD drafting for them. which is paying well for my age. My father passed away in 2005 and left alot of growing up to do for me in a very short period of time. But It has made me who I am today. I do not own such a wonderful car but I fully intend to with my hard work dedication and *hopefully some great investments I too will have the luxury of owning a lambo or Ferrari.

I don't drive a ferrari yet but aim to somewhere in the future, my current car is a 1995 peugeot 306 cabriolet which is a lot of dun to drive with the roof down. I am studying exercise science and doing a bit of personal training work in my local gym, other than that i love sports, cars and socializing. My life in a nutshell. Nick.
Nicholas First, sorry to hear about Dad, secondly, welcome aboard, and thirdly, judging from your comments I think you will do just fine.
Hey everyone, my name's Chris and I'm a 22 year old website designer from Long Island, NY. I first got into cars at age 10 when my parents were shopping for a Dodge Caravan and I became interested in the Dodge Viper. As I learned more about cars, I quickly fell in love with Ferraris, the 512TR being the first. I started up an exotic car website called rapidcars.com and working on it really expanded my interest in all kinds of exotics but Ferraris still hold a special place. I really hope to own one eventually and I think it's real interesting to read about the ownership experience first hand here. I think the most important thing I've learned is that you don't have to be a lotto winner or CEO to own one as long as you want it enough and work hard. I plan on going to Tobay Fest this year as well as some other local meets to get closer to these magnificent machines and maybe even get a ride if I'm lucky
Hello my name is Yuri, i live around the philly area. i am currently a student for psychology but am going to be making a big turn around and going into the automotive industry as a tech. i am 22yrs old and have a 91 toyota mr2 turbo so its referred to as a "poor man's ferrari". i have also rebuilt the engine as well as done a few other things to it. i would love to one day work on Fcars or other exotics so if anyone has any info on how to get started with those cars please let me know! thanks
I'm not technically a lurker, but new member. I love searching for Ferraris and other exotics around town - in my home Melbourne, Australia, or anywhere else I visit! I have photographed heaps of different models now all over the world. Check out my Flickr page too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27374268@N00/sets/72157594451720265/ My favourites are the F430 and 575M, stunning machines. I look forward to the day I see an Enzo driving on normal roads. Ferraris seem so much more beautiful and precious when compared to ordinary cars on the street!
Hi guys, fantastic site!! I've been a Ferrari technician for 10 years and am fanatical about the marque. From the u.k, but Currently living in Cyprus, working for a new Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini dealer thats opened.
I am old enough to remember when the 250 GTO was a new car. I am winding down my racing event schedule and plan to buy the Ferrari that I've always dreamed of owning. A recent article by Michael Sheehan made me realize its time for me to add another chapter in my life for those future days in the retirement home (SCM March '07). "Life is too short to drive a slow car."
Hi there, been lurking since August 04 as I think that was the first time we were seriously considering buying a Ferrari. Just bought our first 348 over Christmas and all I can say is 'blimey'. Previously owned a few quite interesting cars but this one really is the best drivers car we have had. Luckily here in the UK 'climate change' has given us a few dry sunny weekends (with no salt on the roads) since Christmas so we are taking full advantage Cheers Ace-T
hey my name is Rey and as you could probably guess I don't own a Ferrari, however I do plan on one someday and at this point I only live for owning a ferrari. I'm currently in first year uni rightnow to finish my criminal justice degree then I will apply to law school.
hello! to say hi, new here, im frequenting more car forums lately, learning abt all kinds of cars and people too. looking forward to be a member. btw im 26, M, from SoCal.
Hi! I'm Peter, 20 yrs old, from Hungary, been lurking for two weeks. I'm a true fan of Ferrari, ever since im concerned about sportcars (early 90's)... I love the site, it has a lot of right users! Nice to see a lot of fans and owners here ;-)
Hi. I'm Rod. I've been lurking for a couple of months and recently registered. I'm 41 and currently have a 2001 E46 M3 and hope to purchase a used F430 F1 sometime in the near future. I have already learned a lot on this forum
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and recently found out about it through the Lotus chat site, elisetalk. I recently purchased an 06 Lotus Elise but am looking to get into the Ferrari world, maybe a Mondial T.?(my first childs on the way and need a backseat) I have always loved Ferraris but have never taken the plunge into ownership. Truely remarkable machines but somewhat intimidating. Not much of a mechanic and I hear the older cars need quite a bit of attention. I am in the Detroit Michigan area and would love to get involved in the local Ferrari community. Seems like a great "down to earth" group.
Ok guys- As this thread has already shown... WE lurk for a reason!!! My name is Bruce Phillips- I own a restoration trim shop. For over thirty years I have been a part of this hobby. I enjoy some of the posts. And I always lurk after any major show for comments about my work. Sometimes I'm rewarded with praise or constructive criticism. And sometimes I'm shocked. Since I work primarily for commercial restoration shops, I have little contact with the hobbyist, and this gives me a chance watch and listen. I have no problem helping out any chatter with any knowledge or resource I might have. But, the majority of what I see here is mainly social posturing. And very little to comment on......
Hi there, my name is Kenny i am 26 years old and a avid ferrari fan and hopefully a future owner. I live up in beautiful B.C..
I decided to chip in a subscription to keep www.ferrarichat.com up and running. They take PayPal: go for it, it is painless and we want this site to stay on the net, dont we? This site already gave me some precious info about where to get my 90 Mondial T fixed.
What better place to put my first post than here. I'm George, 31 years old and grew up in a car collecting family where we had several XK120 Jags and a few other cars which eventually went to auction. I have had a soft spot for Corvettes and Ferraris. I have since taken care of my goals for owning a Corvette and now have my sights set on a 360 Modena. So far as already setting up a fiancial plan, gotten the insurance quotes and now ready to drive to decide on F1 or traditional stick. Hope to meet other owners as there seems to be a wealth of knowledge in one place.
Hi... I'm Misbah, 25 years old from Northern VA. Long time F-Chat lurker. For that reason, this thread spoke to me. Honestly, I _WAS_ somewhat intimidated to post here, partly for the fact that since I'm not a Ferrari owner, there's not much value I could add (maybe I'll start in the F1 forum). Though I have been a car guy since I can remember, the Ferrari bug bit me when I saw my first one -- a 512 at a gas station. I live & work near the F-Wash dealership, and try to get out there periodically. I'll try to come out to the next DC area event!
Hi All, I'm Mike in Columbus, Ohio. I love the color red, and I like fast cars. On a serious note, I have enjoyed these cars all of my life, and have made the commitment to myself that one day I hope to own one. I'm a young one, 24 and several years removed from college, but would be very interested in anyone in the central Ohio area who either shares my passion or holds events. You all have a great forum and Its been a pleasure reading your stories and encounters with the owners and their cars. Look forward to meeting some of you in the future once this Ohio weather starts to change. In the mean time I'll just stop by midwestern auto group and look at their 360's and 430. Mike
Hi everyone, I'm a 17 year old boy from belgium, and I'm a huge car enthousiast, but I especially like the sportcars like ferrari, lambo, porsche,... and I'd love to own a ferrari! I've been lurking in this forum for quite a while and I decided "to come out and play". I think it's super to read the experiences of ferrari owners and see pictures of the cars. I even visited Maranello this summer when I was in Italy (just the town not the factory), it was really great, seeing all the factory ferraris driving around and visiting the stores and the galleria ferrari. At the moment i'm learning how to drive with my volvo Greets from Matthias (Matthew in English)
been checking out this place for awhile now. very informative. hard to keep with all the stuff going on. definitely would like to buy an f-car sometime in the future. hopefully sooner than later. Good job with this welcoming thread OP. don't kno if i'll continue to post, since i'm not sure if i add any value but definitely a great site to leech info off of.
I'm Alex and I am 24 from Maryland. I haven't been "lurking" here too long. I am in the large group of people hoping to have an Fcar by 30. My current daily driver is an 03 Jaguar X Type.
