Great to hear. I think whether it gets hung up like that or not, can be somewhat individual. Good call figuring it out. Did you loosen the panel above to get the added battery clearance?

I did loosen it as you suggested, but it may have only provided a few millimeters of extra clearance. I was hoping for 10-20. May have helped a little

Same experience here. Two or three millimeters max with everything loose and bolts removed even the far left lower screw under the gasket. The tacky adhesive keeps it in place and the larger plastic box that appears to form part of the ventilation system is whats up against the top of the battery. Its much harder on the F12 because you have to install the false negative terminal to the battery lug before installing the battery. Its important to not use a battery that is any higher than the one you're removing.

I did what I see here to remove the battery from my GTC4 / V8, it broke my back, and I still cant remove it, the upper space still is very tight, I believe I loosen the windshield plastic part but still there is not enough room to remove it. I tilted the battery upward but again not enough room. I feel like the wire connectors on the battery ECU are bending badly and I am afraid they are going to break. Please send me your feedback, it will be much appreciated .

Folks, now that you have had some time with the lithium battery, do you have any recommendations / feedback ? I have a 2020 with an AGM stock battery but the car did throw out strange errors when i drove it on a hot day on the track and these have since disapperared. It seems to be battery/ heat related from reading forums.

I would just stick with the AGM batteries, I had some issues with my antigravity lithium battery and the heat didn't help I think. If its been 4 years for you consider yourself lucky, and just pop in a new one.
