2018 Lusso that I have since new. I feel like a total idiot or I might have a defective latch. Some times the latch will not release to allow the forward moment of the seat to gain access to the back seats. Other times it works fine. Is there a “Ferrari” process needed here? Key on? Engine on? Wait 10 seconds, scratch your tummy and pat your head? Or a visit to the dealership? Thanks in advance , I search the forum and did not find a similar issue.
It's got to be a car issue. I have never had any problem with the seats not moving forward. It has happened to me that the seat starts moving forward, and then suddenly starts moving backward because the back rest was not tilted all the way to the front (or moved back from being tilted all the way to the front because I was on an incline). You do need to get the back rest tilted all the way to the front for the seat to start moving.
Same here- the seats work just fine with/ without the key. A little bit of a touch required to keep the seat in its pushed up position so it will move- otherwise its pretty easy.
Thanks guys. Seems like it is the seat not me! The latch sometimes feels like a Mater-lock, no force will move it.
