I've been reading alot of reviews and watching some youtube reviews of the lusso. Main complaint are that seats stiff and could be more comfortable? Any truth to this? My FF is very comfy for everyday use and looking to upgrade to lusso.

If you are happy with FF comfort you’ll be happier with Lusso.
Seats are virtually same, but suspensions much better.

I saw these reviews as well and was really surprised. I have the Daytona ventilated seats and they are really comfortable, even for road trips. My wife likes them as well.

The seats in Lusso are the most comfortable seats in cars, maybe less comfort than an S class. That's it.

I find the seats in my Lusso to be very comfy, much better than my previous 7 and quattroporte

Same here, standard seats, did a 3500mls road trip, seats were great. Feedback from passenger was the same. They might be more adjustment sensitive than other seats but no idea why reviewers find issues with them.
My kids love the rear seats BTW

I put 14,750mi on my Lusso this year.

The seats are fine, including on long distance trips, they hold you well in position, heat fast during winter, are not hard on your back,
Are they perfect? Its not your s class comfort seat. I also find them a little too small - im 6’3”+, and positioned too high (cant lower them enough).

No imperfect enough to spoil the driving experience, even though the driving position for tall passengers could be bettered big time.

I agree with all the comments so far. I have a little over 1,000 miles on my GTC4Lusso and I would put the seats at least on par with my former BMW 7. I am semi daily driving the Lusso. I've had family and friends in the car and not once has anyone said anything negative about the seats. Or even the car! Everyone loves it. I think the seats strike a great balance between comfort and sporty. So far so good! I think you will really enjoy this car.

Close to 4k miles on wife's Lusso now (4 months old), she loves how comfortable the car is and the only complaint she has is the occasional loss of seat memory and disappearing phone contacts.

Love this thing already, different animal than the FF. More refined yet more wild. Sounds better yet more civilized around town. What a machine, could be the best product Ferrari makes. Also it is quite a bit faster, and the handling is far superior to the FF. Interior is very inviting, hard to figure out what is going on so it will take me a while. I did find the materials superior and inferior to the FF. The sunvisors are kind of cheap(ff had much better ones) but the rest of the car is very nice. Anyone that thinks the FF is a better car is a pure lunatic. Beats FF in everything but maybe the sunvisors.. Day 2 tomorrow.

I am not sure at all. I had driven a lusso for almost a month. The seats are harder than my 16 FF. And the leather smells are definitely stronger in the FF

Did you have a FF and if you did, how long did you have it for?

Can't advise on the smell - which nowadays is also a factor of how much chemical scents they put in the letter, as my FF had 1/2 Alcantara 1/2 leather.
I did not notice FF seats were firmer coming from my 2014 model which had 17kmi when I sold it. I have standard in Lusso, and had diamond stitching in FF. Maybe this has an impact too if you have daytona.

FF is more raw and more fun and louder and rougher ... more like a big 458.

Lusso is a more sedate/mom car around town with a dual personality to big power when pushed. Happy to have the FF. With X pipe and cans it's not slower or lacking in engine music.

Lusso has ONE HUGE advantage as a driving car, U turn radius. The steering wheel on the Lusso and the 812 etc. is a joke. Nothing subtle about it. No art there.

Seat leather is lesser in all the newer Ferraris unless you upgrade. Standard Nero in my FF is like the current upgrade leathers. Better hand, deeper, better smell, more porous ... aka better quality top grain product.

Ferrari is a corporation, and there are repercussions for that.

I think that maybe why. The seat I found very different from the FF is the way the back seat is contoured in the lusso, plus I am 6'3".

I agree the difference in the front seats are less drastic.

The FF feels more floaty and less planted vs lusso. Handling is way better in lusso as the car has less weight. Stock to stock ff is much slower and exhaust is better on lusso. Sorry these are the facts and it shows.

Is it duel personally? Yes and that is a massive benefit. It’s a gt, not a pista. Steering wheel is better in lusso as well. Easier to see the cluster and more modern elegant.

I don’t find the seat leather less quality either. The FF had leather that would wear. This seems to be put together much better and feels tighter inside. There use to be gaps here and there, no more with the lusso.

Ferrari has always been a corporation. They make better cars today than yesterday. You can’t stop tech and innovation!
