    Hi

I lived in Luxembourg for a year, and can highly recommend it. Its a strange city because the population doubles during the day because so many people commute in from France, Germany and Belgium. AS a result it goes a bit quiet in the evening. But there are still many bars and clubs.

Overall highly recommended. Anything in particular u want to know?

    Hi

Luxemburg is a great city IMO I visit it regulary and have always liked it. It's not that a big city but the old center is very cosy. I've spent some wonderful summer evenings on terrasses at the Place d' Armes in the past :D
As you probably already know; there are loooooots of banks :D

Ferrari spotting is good, especially near the airport where the dealership is ;):D (Winandy, http://www.ferrari.lu/)

    Thanks guys fo the answers.

I was told its a very pleasant city to live in and that people have a good lifestyle there.

Is it more expensive than France or Belgium ?
How dead is it at night ?

How tight are the cops ? :)

I ll think of more questions tonight ..

    Grazie tanto !

Gotta agree with Alex. Its a great city, busy enough, but quiet enough when you want it too. I grew up in London, so it was a really nice change.

    To answer your questions:
Very Pleasent, low crime, high standard of living. Lots of good restaurants.

Yes I believe it is more expensive than surrounding countries but then petrol
    is cheapest in Europe!

At night there are many bars to visit which are busy. But generally it will be more quiet that PAris or London.

Dont ask about the cops. Very tight from my experience! When I was there I had an M5. Shortly after I bought it I went to Amsterdam and stopped by the dutch police for overtaking a convoy of Nato trucks. The day after I got back I stopped by the Lux police for speeding. I didnt have the correct papers for the car so they kept the car until I got my papers. Luckily though the police at the police station actually called the garage in Germany where I bought the car and threatened them, so they sent the papers the next day (I had been trying for over a month!). So police were firm, but friendly in my opinion.

Any other questions let me know.
