I just looked at the MMR and the 02 murcielago that sold at the 100der in Manheim, was a hurricane car, I checked this car out when it was the west Palm beach sale...the dash had been replaced, and the annoucemnet at the sale was Miles not known, so the MMR is not right on that car...the average MMR on the the 03 is quite abit higher then $156k..same with the 04..rember Fcahtters..these are auction prices, and in no way refelct the retail market..I can buy 430 much much cheaper then the retail is suggesting...

    Knowledge is power.
    Empower yourself.

I personally have bought 3 cars at auctions and feel that I did all right.
No question Dealers sometimes render service that is worth their markup
but IMO it's instructive to study everything before spending this kind of $ on anything.

    Napolis,

I have bought 100's of cars at the Manheim, and use MMR daily. The prices you gave are genarlly used by dealer to detrime trade-in value, based on what we can get at the sale for the car. they do not reflect a retail price, in fact on the MMR it does list a retail value, I have talked to manheim about that and they say; they tell all new dealers to only use MMR as a trade in tool...they are not used to decide where to buy a car, and what price to try to buy...I buy cars everyday for more or for less that is listed on the MMR.

Shoot, that 03 is getting close to my price range. Needs to come down a few 10K for me to be able to afford the maintenance. Thanks for the info.
