Anyone looking to get ride of their M3 made between 1995 and 2001?
go to www.bimmerforums.com they always have some for sale... my brother is buying one right now, a 99 for 17k
Augustine, you need to drive my land yacht, you will be pleasantly surprised to find it can out handle my 328 in all but the tightest, rapid-direction change roads (where weight plays the biggest factor, and at 5,000lb of reinforced German steel, those '50s are not exactly light). It shall then be next time we meet!
Sounds great, but to be honest..... I'd rather just drive your 328 again. I'm going through severe bouts of withdrawl right now. It's painful. I want another late '88 or '89 328 GTS/GTB so badly that I can taste it!
Hey, I have a '96 M3 that just hit 50k miles (Luxury Package). It has a Cosmos Black exterior and Modena Interior. Have put about $3k into maintenance over the past year to replace parts due to wear. The only modifications done to the car are the suspension that I replaced with TCKline springs and Koni Adjustable shocks, an intake and zkw headlights with 6k HID's & DDE. Exterior is in great shape, minus 1 ding that was there when I bought it and the interior is equal if not better. I am not actively looking to sell the car, but if you are seriously interested I may be willing to part with it. You would be hard pressed to find one in better condition, even later models like the 1999. Feel free to give me a shout if you like. -CT
Sure thing, here are some pics that I dug up off my computer. http://ctlphotography.com/M3/Sell1.jpg As for price, I don't have one at this time, I would need to do some reasearching into what a fair price would be. But, just as a heads up, it will be at a premium because of the money spent on the replacement parts, the rarity of the interior, the low mileage.... oh and I like the car a lot -CT
Erik, that looks like a nice car. Modena int. is very rare, and his mods are very high quality and tasteful (nothing better than ZKW's). THIS IS NOT AN INSULT, or an attempt to get you not to buy the car, but the lux. package doesn't have vader seats, it has different door panels, different rocker panels, and wood. But the car is so nice, I wouldn't hesitate.
Thanks for the comments Qksilver. Yes, with the lux package there are a few differences, it is heavier than the non-lux. The door panels are covered in leather, the seats are not vaders, although a lot of people prefer the non-vaders because they are more comfortable for long-distance. From what I can view, some people who are more on the 'larger' side prefer the lux seats because they give you more room. I think I prefer vaders because I am tall but very slim and they seem to hold me better compared to these... oh well. There is also the wood trim the car comes with. I would make a suggestion to check out bimmerforums.com they have a sale forum, this car was just posted which look pretty good other than the higher mileage: http://bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=455917 , it's a forum I frequent often. I know I posted the car as a possible sale, but I am not going to list a price because I really don't know if I want to sell it. But please let me know if I can be of any help with questions. -CT
Anyone know of any resources to find a used one? I checked bimmer forum, cars.com, ebay, craigslist in the tri-state area, and my local newspaper. Is there any place else I should check?
I agree, unless you sit a little lower (slouching) on longer trips, the middle/ middle-upper section of your back gets sore from lack of support. What's your bf.c name? I'm JoeyG . Here's a pic of the M from the last meet. -Joe Image Unavailable, Please Login
