    what do you people think of the m3 as a daily driver vs other cars for around 50 k new, maybe 40ish used?...my biggest gripe with the car is the exhaust note... it just doesnt sound good to me.... has anyone put after market exhausts on it and how do they sound?

    A close friend has a Dinan M3 SMG that has been completely reliable so far. We trade off driving it or my 360 on weekends, so I also have driven it a bit.
    It feels very solid and it accelerates well with the Dinan changes in the engine and gearing.
    The exhaust was also changed by Dinan and now is a bit deeper in pitch than the stock exhaust.
    So far, it has done well, driven about 3days/week on average.
