    Just bought a new Mac Pro 8Core system. I'm loving it other than the fact that Final Cut Pro keeps freezing every time I start it. I've done every software update possible. But I still need to restart the computer and then it works fine. It's a bit annoying. Any Input? I'm trying to work on a few videos now that I have time.

    have you tried to repair the permissions from the utilities profile? If you still have the disc, erase it and try to re install.

    Works fine now, I think it was a problem with my firewire/camera connection.
