Seems like I'm having a bunch of problems lately with Safari and Flash. I haven't had problems for most of the year. Web pages won't load and lock up, I go to Activity Monitor and Flash always shows taking up 100% of the CPU and stays there for hours. I have the latest version of Safari and Flash, not sure what else could have changed.

Any ideas where Flash doesn't negatively impact me, but I can still use Flash for needed things like YouTube? thanks!

YouTube should default to HTML5 playback. I can watch YouTube videos using Safari with Flash disabled.

You can disable Flash in Safari under Safari > Preferences > Security > Plug-in Settings. This is probably a good idea anyway given its endless security vulnerabilities.

I just uninstalled Flash and so far it hasn't interrupted anything I've tried to do. :)
