    Hey,

    Firstly, I have no affiliations etc with the S/W or anyone involved beyond being a *really* happy user. It's completely free and open source btw.

    I'm running 2.2.5 patch 10, which I thought was still the latest. The auto-updater hadn't told me any different.

    Anyway, I needed some help figuring formatting out in a "Word" style document and their support forums are *righteous*. They also happen to run the same BBS as here, so it's really familiar.....[Remember, if you go there, search is your friend ;) ]

    They also have the best looking Wiki I think I've ever seen: http://neowiki.neooffice.org/index.php/Main_Page

    However, it turns out that Neooffice 3.0 has been out since the 31st March. I *know* I've recommended it to people - Turns out I've not even run it! :)

    Is anyone using 3.0? Comments?

    I'll answer my own Q - I just downloaded and installed 3.0 - It's fast and so far seems to be rock solid. Opens M$ Word/Excel/Powerpoint/etc documents as expected and will save in the same formats.

    And you're not lining Bills pockets, which always makes me feel good :)
