http://www.freshbite.info/fnews_1224745936_11096.htm As a Mac user, I found this pretty funny because it's partially true - at least before the transition to Intel.
Intel made a world of difference, I can run Quake IV, UT 2004, etc.. on my older Mac Book Pro without any issues.
Now all they to do is release the games on the PC at the sametime they release the games on console. It would also be great if they could put the PC gamers and the console gamers on the same servers so we can finally put the KB/M console controller issue to rest. Also it would be awesome to mass-a-cure all the console people with my KB/M. Before they can even figure out what is going on they would be splatted, almost as bad as a respawn camper.
Mac makes a great OS, but their hardware sucks, and they make it properietary so it's more expensive to upgrade, and forget about building your own.
Im Mac all the way... I have had Pc and they crash all the time. Never last me longer than a year. My Mac is a year old and runs the same as when I got it
You could not be more wrong. Maybe years ago, Apple used proprietary hardware, but these days everything you might want to replace is completely standards-compliant. As for whether their hardware sucks - in what sense? Apple uses the same components as any other PC manufacturer, except they don't put them in a cheap, creaking, plasticky case. Apple's build and materials quality is the best in business - have you seen one of the new MacBooks? And the only people who build their own computers are hobbyists with too much time on their hands. If you think screwing around with a computer is fun, by all means, go build your own and stick Linux on it. Otherwise, just buy one and get on with your life.
