We're happy to announce that we have finally begun shipping our 355 console controls module. The package consists of the shift panel, AC panel, and fully functional ashtray with integrated mirror switch. Permanently fix that bubbling AC panel and sticky plastic! These parts replace the plastic pieces and are not stick-on cover panels. The console is available for manual and F1 cars. Due to having a number of orders already, any order placed now would be delivered in late March or early April. At that time (April) we will also have available right hand drive (for HK, England, Singapore), Celsius AC controls, and the mirror switch with the ABS deactivation button. This means we can cover any 355 version out there. Cost at this time is $1,450.

We went with three pieces rather than a one piece design for a few reasons. One, we felt it added a little more interest to the design and makes it look more OEM. From a practical standpoint, having it split allows us to make changes to each section without having to redo the tooling for the others. And finally, we think it also makes for an easier installation as there is a little more adjustment available.

One other related piece in the works is the bottom of the storage bin that follows the ashtray. With that piece in place, the entire console top will be in CF – while maintaining the leather console sides.

Feel free to contact us with any questions via PM, email, or phone. Or this thread!

    Mark,

I think we've been talking about it since then - or at least a long time! The delay has been because we've been too busy making '99 Diablos thanks to you. We're up to 11!

These look awesome!!! Can you see the lighted numbers/lettering underneath the heat/AC gauges?

Mine is just starting to bubble, so I'll almost definitely be calling you by the end of summer ;)

Sorry the numbers don't light up. At this time. One feature of the console being in multiple sections is if we do work out a lighted solution, you would be able to upgrade without loosing your investment in the other pieces. But right now we do not have any plans for the lighted version.

Hopefully your console will make it through the summer!

    John,
It looks great. I'll be talking with ya in a few months. Question, what do you do for the switches( door lock, shock setting ect..)? Also do you have door handles in carbon for the 355?

Not sure what you mean. If your switches are gummy, we don't have a solution for that. Not sure what the best method is. We've been asked a few times to do something but never really pursued it. If its how are the switches attached, the carbon panel perfectly replicates the stock plastic piece so the switches simply plug into it.

We do the door handles in carbon. Unlike the console, they are a carbon laminate over the OEM Ferrari handles. They look great and would match the console when you got that.

Not sure when that will be. We have an idea on how we want to do it but it will take additional development time that we currently don't have.

does one remove the "existing" bubbling panel to install this?? The panel would then have access to the lights already in the AC panel....

...makes sense since I mostly drive at night... :)

    +1 again... :D

We hav not had any time to work on a lighted version of the AC panel. We've been so busy that we have not even added the 355 console to the website. We need to though because it does cause confusion. At this point, I do not know when we'll get to it. So far, we've had no one come back to us and say they really miss the lighted numbers. But it would be cool to get it done.

Mike: the 348 is where we started...... Drop me an email to discuss options for your car. We have some slightly different ordering procedures for international.

Gothspeed:The panels have the brackets molded onto the back. Your switches and other parts attach via your existing screws.

Thanks for the offer. We're pretty certain of how we'd do it and the enhanced graphics needed were designed in from the beggining. But at this point doing the lighted version is just an additional layer of production complication that we we'd prefer to tackle later. The console is in three sections, so if we do come out with one later, customers could always upgrade. I'm sure there would be a market for the old AC panel! Maybe we'd need a MAcarbon Classiche program!

hmmmm, so I could upgrade and by upgrade you mean buy a second piece;) I think ill live with sticky AC controls and CF around the shifter and ashtray:) Let us know when you decide to produce the lighted ones for the AC Control.....now the important question......if they are not on your website, how do we order them?
