I have a spare MAF and was cross checking the part number.
I know the normal 348 part number but my spare is Bosch 0 280 213 012. There are some threads where it's mentioned yes but nothing specific.

Anyone know what 3xx models it was used on? Seems like 348 MY95 and 355 for a year perjaps? Wondering if would work on earlier 348s too in that case.

Bosch 0 280 213 012 won't work on the 348 as it has a different curve than 348's 0 280 212 018. The diagram below does not show the curve of 0 280 212 018 but the shown curve for 0 280 212 022 (Curve 2) is identical to that of the 348's MAF and you can see that it is different from the Curve 3 which is for 0 280 213 012.
