Last week I entered my car in a local car show and actually won a trophy. My car is not a concours winning car by any means, I bought it as a driver and do just that. BUT, having said that my car is a real rarity here in this part of Oklahoma. So, I thought to myself that I should take it to a few other car shows.

Having said that, I would like to find articles about 308s and put together a book that I would display with the car as I do this. I figure that if there was a thread about it where people might be able to post articles they have scanned or have in pdf format that it might be a cool resource for us all. I used to have a bunch of R&T and C&D articles about them from back in the day. I bought them right off the news stand, but years later they are nowhere to be found.

I have a few that I can scan and put into this thread. Do you have access to any? Particularly vintage articles?

    Thanks,

    PDG

I'm sure that I have many (I never throw old mags out) but am unable to scan them easily. If you give specifics I'll see what I can do

I appreciate that, but I dont know specific months and years at this point. I am trying to find some of that right now to help narrow it down, but really anything that has info on the Ferrari 308s. I have emailed R&T and am trying to figure who to write at C&D for starters.

    Thank you!!

For a few hundred dollars you may be able to help someone out by picking up their old collection of Cavallino, then you could go back and read lots of articles about your car and others of that era. I've seen collections for sale on ebay in the past.

I have quite a few more recent articles that I hope to contribute to this (hopeful) database. I will try to scan them and add them here in the next few days.

I figure if we all can pool our resources we should have something that we can all use.

This book has old period articles from Road and Track, Car and Driver etc.. and some euro mags as well. All in black and white. More than enough articles in there, there's also a seperate book for 328's and Mondials. Amazon has them. Good luck.

I made up an index of period 308/328 magazine articles that I have here at home. There must be nearly 25 of them just in the easy American magazines. The Portfolio books are handy for reading, but the picture reproduction is atrocious.

Yeah, I looked at and thought about doing the Ebay thing. I have bought a few from there myself, but thought if someone here already had them it would be cool to have a thread that contained everything which would be easy for all of us to use.

I will, definitely check out the book suggested by Sindo308QV. I have seen that, but had forgotten that it existed.
