Its interesting the mail offers I get now that I own a Ferrari. I take it that some of the vendors I have part parts from have sold my name/address to these people. To the point though, I get Forza, Road & Track, and Autoweek but an offer for Sports & Exotic came the other day, since I have never seen seen mag I wondered if anyone has any recommendations about it.
    Thanks
    Bill

ps any other recommendations? Europeon cars? etc?

There is always Cavalino... a few Barnes & Nobles stock. It's a little dry for my taste but some people like it.

How about the Ferrari Market Letter...? Celebrating thirty years of having never sold a name, address, phone number or email address... :)

I subscribe to Hemmings Sports $ Exotic Car, and enjoy the magazine. It's in its first year of publication. Features road test etc on vintage sportscars and list their current values. December issue had feature article on Ferrari 308 and Porsche 928 comparison, which I enjoyed.

Its not Ferrari specific, but evo is a great magazine that almost always has an article on some Ferrari.

I may have my names mixed up but, if I recall correctly, Sports & Exotic is published by the folks the publish Hemmings. It's main emphasis is on older sports cars and is not specific to any marque. It's an interesting nostalgia trip if you're (like me) interested in such.
    Ciao,

Surprised no one has yet mentioned Sports Cars Market. It's a no-bulls___ publication with great articles (every mo. a column on Ferrari, Porsche, English cars, et al) as well as extensive coverage with commentary on recent auctions worldwide. It's become my favorite magazine since beginning to subscribe 3 yrs ago; it's a high point every month when it arrives.

Are there many subscribers that have stuck with the FML since the beginning? I started about halfway through 1976 if I remember correctly. I wonder how many have been around longer.

I have never seen Auto Italia in any stores. I will try to find it at some of the bookstores here in Michigan. Thank you for mentioning it. I get Forza now but I don't think I am ready for the FML. Maybe when I actually can afford a Ferrari I will go that route. CAR and EVO are great too.

I also subscribe to Hemmings Sports and Exotic. They have a unique approach and appreciation for the older stuff... emphasis on driven cars over garage queens... I enjoy it! Not just Italian cars either, lots of German and Japanese toys as well.

So far Sports & Exotics by Hemmings has quickly become my favorite magazine, nothing to do with the articles on Ferrari's of course and absolutely nothing to do with the 2 articles on Singer cars, they did a Singer Le Mans which I happen to own one of and the next month a Singer 4AD which I also happen to own. Waiting for a article on a FIAT Dino and it will get my vote as the very best.

Classic and Sportscar, Motorsport, Octane are all great UK based mags................and of course the original English FHM, apparently America gets a watered down version with very little in the way of nudity......

Maybe because the articles are simply slightly altered Road & Track re-hashes.

Dave... I don't know the exact numbers, but, off the top of my head, I believe there are twelve charter subscribers left, all still current, all still alive (an unfortunate, but nevertheless-related factoid concerning the question)... Do you still have your old FMLs...? Ever consider resubscribing...? Have you seen our new site lately...?
