Magic numbers game..freaky!!?

OK, that freaked me out. At first I figured it was one of those things where the equation always ended up with the same symbol. So I changed mine to make sure it was different, and the witch guessed it anyway.

 

C'mon guys, you couldn't tell what is wrong with this? You can only pick 9 numbers if you used their equation correctly. Those 9 numbers also have the same symbols! I tried to make 84 the choice, but it's not possible with their equation of course.

9 is for 10-19
18 is for 20-29
27 is for 30-39
36 is for 40-49
45 is for 50-59
54 is for 60-69
63 is for 70-79
72 is for 80-89
81 is for 90-99

Let me guess, any of those 9 numbers yours? Yes.

 

Crap they are my nubers. come on i took 55 from 355 and 46 from 246 Dino lol.

 

I knew the symbols repeated, but I figured it out when I first picked 45, then 47. They had the same number so that's when I started working it out like that to get it to only 9 numbers.

So it has a one in nine shot of getting it correct? Has it been wrong for anyone?

 

It will always get it right. Based on the number limitations they gave you, there are only 9 numbers you can possibly get after plugging in your number into their equation: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81. Those 9 numbers will always have the same symbol on each turn. Look at it for yourself.

Even though a symbol changes on each turn, it changes to the same one for all of those 9 numbers. They just added the rest of the those numbers to make it look like it was picking the right one every time out of a larger group. If you just delete the numbers that aren't those 9 I mentioned, it would be really dumb, lol.
