Hey everyone. I have a 95 I'm working on and it was in need of cats. Some poking around the interwebz yielded some company who are modifying magnaflow 200 cell high flow cats to for 355s for a reasonable cost of about $300 a pop. I have used magnaflow cats such as these in many other applications with great success so I figured it was worth giving them a shot.

The install went well. Fit is good. No CEL. Emissions passed

    Pics coming

Appears to have bungs for pre and post O2 sensors, as well as thermocouplers. With my SDL giving issue, I was beginning to think a cat might be bad, and started reading about aftermarket ones. Please let us know if these give any issues. Price seems fair.

Personally, my experience with aftermarket CATS has not been good, but that was long ago, on a BMW, and not a brand name like Magnaflow.

Great job are those the eBay cats? Or which website ?

Excellent alternative to 4000 dollar factory paper weights.

I'm going to put a couple hundred miles on them and report back. If these weren't magnaflow I would never try them. I've had nothing but great experiences with their cats.

    Sound clip coming soon

whats the company making these..? website..?

so your saving, this company is taking a Magnaflow 200cell highflow cat and modifying them, to fit/work with 355's..?

definitely seems interesting.. thats $300 per cat i assume..?

DEC....I think that is who made the BMW cat that fell apart on me many years ago! You can't miss the sound of a cat rattling around. Hope they do great.

This was clarified by DEC when I called them along with the big fat magnaflow part nimber stamped on the thing. As I said before, I've used magnaflow cats such as these on umpteen different applications and they have been quality. Will report back after a couple hundred miles.

Magna flow products are great I have used them many times. Just because they aren't 2000 dollars like hyperflows doesn't make them junk. I bet the Cel stays off with these even on a 5.2 .

Certainly a great price for a cat.
What is the core, ceramic or metallic?
