Good stuff or cheap garbage? I am interested in getting a High flow cat for my bimmer, and was wondering different options.

I have heard good and bad about them. I worry, as the low price/cost leads me to believe there is an associated short life...

I have a 93000 series in place of the rear cats and it works beautifully. Actually, minus my exhaust manifolds and front cats, the rest is Magnaflow. Sounds awesome.

The best performing after market cats that I have seen are made by Random Technologies. I have had them on 4 different cars.

The metal substrate cats are rated up to 800 HP.

Here are my test results. The single only caused a slight increase in back pressure by the amount of a 1-2tq difference at the rear wheels and sounds identical as it did without the cats. Notice how drastically NOX was reduced. Cheap, effective, doesn't resonate. Thats a win in my book.
