    Sorry to sidetrack but is there ad definitive way to know if your rims are magnesium? I've searched here and came up short.

    I have five 16" rims off an 84 Euro QV and they only say SL 053 on the back. No other markings but the paint is bubbling off them real bad which leads me to believe they have mag content.
