I know that it is not real but. I have been asked to find a Magnetic Scuderia Shield. Where can I find one. Preferably one about the size of the shield on the side of some of the Ferraris.

    Thanks.

The ones I have came from T. Rutlands; they have a bit of a depth effect which makes them better than the ones that are dead flat. Their website is www.trutlands.com but it is being updated, so you would have to call them.

Just make your own, its easy.

Get the stickers from your local Ferrari dealer, then stop at local Arts & Craft store for a sheet of rubber magnets. Put the stickers onto the sheet and cut it out with a utility knife or a pair of scissors.

However, make sure that your car has steel fenders. For example, the front fenders on the Testarossa are fiberglass, needless to say, these won't stick. :)

Haven't decided if I like 'em or not. Was at a F event Sat and a number of cars had the shields, it seems to look good on some but not others. Personal prefernece I suppose.

If you want to make your own as suggested above, the following will perfect your technique the same way that I do all of mine. Pick out the stickers you like from Ferrari and the magnetic sheet material. Look at the coated (white) surface of the magnetic material. At the corner, start and peel the coating away from the magnetic rubber surface. It should come off in a single sheet. It will now be a little thinner and a little more pliable. After you apply the Ferrari sticker onto the stripped magnetic material, trim it very close to BUT not on the sticker edge. Then with fine sand paper, gently sand the rubber just down to the sticker edge. They will be as nice or probably better than you can buy.

I did this too. I got some gel stick on Shields and used magnetic rubber sheet for backing. I got the "Automotive Strength" magnetic backing on the internet and it was £10 for 3xA4 sheets. They look as good as any of the gel stick on shields, but not as good as the proper enamel ones.
