I'm going to Chicago next weekend, and I'm looking for something I don't think I will be able to find on my own, so I'm asking you guys. Are there any discount designer clothing stores on N. Michigan Ave? Esp. ones that have mens shoes such as Salvatore Ferragamo, etc? Help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Mike
I don't think there will be any discount stores right on Michigan Ave. With the rent that those stores pay, you probably pay a premium over mall stores. But anyway, the Ferragamo store is at 645 N. Michigan, and their prices are not too outrageous.
Are you driving in? If so, you'll go right by the enormous outlet mall in Michigan City call Lighthouse. They may have one there.
I doubt there'll be any discount stores on Oak St. either. I was at one store which you would've thought was discount, but actually, I found the same shirt there for a few $$ less than at Fields on State.
DYK, The rent for an I-90 overhead plaza(Whatever its called where Mcdonalds is above the road) space is something like 10x's that of the avg. space to rent on Michigan Ave! Random info, I saw Premium and Michigan Ave
