I have had the Magnum P.I. dvd set since my birthday in November,
and I just realized that there is a side "B" to the first three discs.
That means there are 7 episodes I haven't seen yet.

    WHAT AN IDIOT ;)

I did a search on Amazon the other day and came up with a site that was selling the entire series. Is this legit? I thought that this release of the first season was the only set available.

On the episode "j.j. digger", it shows two 308's at the same time in a couple of shots, one being driven by Magnum's lady help. They look neat side by side. In another shot they are one in front of the other.

An on disc 4 episode 1 the QV shows up for the first time.

In one scene, in episode two or three maybe, Magnum says something about his, "50,000 dollar ferrari". ;)

maybe we should start a Magnum pi "spotters" thread.

Have you gotten to the one where TC gives it a tune up? Helicopter pilots are great mechanics.

Don't miss the one where TC is looking under the front of the car and tells Magnum that he has a busted transmission.

I think it was episode 1 where he said it was 60,000 dollar Ferrari.

Just saw it yesterday. I loved the last scene of the episode where Magnum and T.C. drive back to the estate and tells Higgins that T.C. did a great job tuning up the Ferrari. To which higgins replies that since T.C. is not an authorized Ferrari mechanic, the warranty of the car is now void!

Is/was that really true for Ferrari warranties?

Also notice in the first episode, after he narrowly escapes the closing of the front gate in the Ferrari, how he then removes the targa top and "slides" it back out of camera view...either that top ended up on the side of the road, or there must have been some helpers to take it out of his hands!

I owe "Magnum P.I." a debt of gratitude..

It's where I first laid eyes on a Ferrari, as a teenager.

At that point, it was just of matter of when, not if, I would own one.

I just bought my 1977 308 GTB last month!

Oh, yeah, as far as the show goes, I always thought it was a great series. It still holds up today. I wish TV would come up with a similar buddy show,
    with morals.....

There's talk of a Magnum movie. Anybody heard more on that?

    Greg

Yes indeed. I fell in love with 308 because of Tom as he looked so cool in that GTS and now I am a proud owner of 328 GTS. Every time I watch this new DVD when I turn it off I have to pop out to check out my 328.
Am I the only who do this? Come on own up guys!!
