Magnum PI gets new life on NBC

Couldn't find the thread on the new Magnum. CBS cancelled the show and its now being picked up by NBC.

I know there was a few fans here disappointed by the CBS cancellation.

Id like a recast as well. Bring back a male Higgin's for one. I think like CBS, NBC is going to mess up the show.

 

bring back a manly magnum. one who actually looks like he could swim or surf ski.
new magnum was being pulled by a rope on the surf ski.

 

Good to hear. No, it’s not nearly as good as the Selleck-Hillerman original, but it’s a hour of fast cars and Hawaii…

I actually like this show now. Better then most of the reality crap that’s on.

 

the original actually had very good dialoge.
the second series was just plain wrong on every level.

I tried to like the reboot but couldn’t get into it.
Hopefully the new one is better. Hard to compete with the old cast.

 

Really, I heard there was talk but never knew it was a reality. It wasn't the original, but I liked it. It ended with Magnum and Higgins making out though, which made sense since it was unannounced that it was canceled until after. Wonder what they will do with that since it was intentionally avoided for 4 years.
