It's good to see us back on top of the sheets, but as Andreas is saying it doesn't mean much since we don't know what kind of setup the cars were running, fuel loads, etc.

Hopefully we keep up the pace and Kimi or Massa can take the pole. If it rains then it's all up in the air.

Truer words have never been spoken: Up in the air, that's normally where rain comes from. :)

You are right, I really do not care which one wins at this point, I just believe that Massa is the faster of the two, and derserving to win the WDC. And with all the Massa detractors here, I only wanted to point out that once again, he is the fastest of the pair.

And once again all this really means is that Kimi isn't pulling his weight.

Sadly at some point this doesn't really matter anymore.

Rubens Barrichello believes the upgrades on Honda’s RA107 have improved the car’s competitiveness in France – although the Brazilian says this wasn’t truly reflected on the Friday timesheets

yeah they said that, too. which as a result, gives the cars even more grip according to the speed announcers. which i think was apparent, seeing as ferrari doesnt do so well on low grip surfaces.

No it does not. You are assuming falsely that Raikkonen is automatically the faster driver, and that Massa has not improved as such with the help of Michael Schumacher. There is no proof at all to your assumption.

The fact that it is public knowledge that Todt is happy with Kimi's performance, and blames the car, adds to the theory that Massa is now that faster driver. Additionally, the fact that Massa has been faster for most of the season and preseason also adds to the theory in Massa's favor. You would be assuming that Kimi has not performed since the second race, and that would be preposterous. At some point, internal pressure would have come into play if this was true. Even Raikkonen has sufficient ego so as to not want to fail.

Additionally, since Massa's times most of the year have either surpassed the faster McLaren's, or come very close despite the grip problem, is one more item of proof that Massa is in fact faster than his teammate.

Nothing at all supports you position.

Apparently that pressure has come into play.

Now this is the first I've heard of this phone call but I'm surprised your informants haven't made you privy to that information. :) As this pressure has come into play your own words, that if Kimi were the faster of the two and believed to be by the team pressure would be made, Montezemolo's phone call supports the position. It also seems PitPass also believes we haven't been seeing the real Kimi Raikkonen. Their words not mine.

Why has Ferrari called in the police to investigate Nigel S and what he was doing back at the shop that was caught on security cameras? Are they looking for someone to blame for their lack of pace?

There's a whole thread in this section somewhere that goes into detail if you're interested. Something about a white powder in or on the gas tanks.

Thanks Kyle for the info! It seems Nigel is off in the far east spending Ferrari money....
The whole Ferrari clan is like a big soap opera, starting with LDM.
