Been a while since I've been on here. Does anyone have any recommended Mainland Europe Parts Suppliers. I find Maranello very good but since Brexit the delivery costs and tax on delivery costs and DHL fees on delivery costs mean it's about €60 to get ARB drop link bushes sent to Ireland from the UK. I've no issue paying VAT but that's crazy to me.

Superformance prices at least provide some relief from delivery costs increases.

    Hi Andrew,

I'm in New Ross. I've been dealing with Superperformance for the past 10 years. I've found their prices are the best in UK. They will use Royal Mail rather then a courier for small items. They are also very helpful if you have a query.

I got a few parts from Dinoparts in Germany, they are much more expensive.

All the deliveries I've received from Superformance have been delivered by Parcel Force - Not Royal Mail.

Parcel Force used to be the parcel service for Royal Mail, but they split the business a few years ago, and now both Parcel Force and Royal Mail deal with parcels as separate businesses.

(I'd ordered some parts from Superformance last year, and went to the Royal Mail depot to collect my parcel. A strangely irate woman working at the depot told me in a quite sarcastic manner: "That's for Parcel Force!........We're Royal Mail! .......You need to go to their depot to collect that!" and then refused to tell me where the local Parcel Force depot was - Very weird!)

Superformance are great for a lot of parts, but their inventory isn't as extensive as eurospares or ferrariparts (Maranello Classic Parts).

I can't help with any mainland Europe companies as, being in the UK, I've rarely needed to use anybody other than Superformance, eurospares or ferrariparts (and it pays to shop around between those three - I've had instances where ferrariparts have been cheaper than the other two, despite being the official Ferrari parts supply)

Dinoparts in Germany is my go-to for most things. They even have rebuild services... I shipped them my brake calipers and steering rack and had them rebuilt. Came back looking like new.

I have had good experience with both Superformance and Dinoparts. Just check both for prices before ordering,

Absolutely agree on Dino Parts Sean. I have generally found Maranello parts OK but €60 extra to deliver ARB bushes is nuts. Their delivery to NI is not much better. Some guys here dislike Superformance and I did have 1 past issue. Eurocarparts I've used too.

In North America you're used to buying and paying tax from UK but Brexit is an Irish excuse to rip off with duty and postage and cost all multiplied by 0.23 then throw in couriers €15 cut. We're part of Europe without the benefit now.
