    I am looking to buy a 1995 456 with 20 K miles. Major service has been completed. What would be the typical maintenance costs for major and minor service for the next one that would be needed? I have verified all records that service was completed.

    All depends..

    How often will you drive it - generally the less you drive the higher the maintenance cost?
    What type of driving, short costs more than long where long => 30 miles;
    Have the engine mountings been replaced and the seat/window mods been done?
    And there is a hose that needs to be replaced ina position that is almost impossible to reach?
    Maintenance by the dealer or a specialist which with this more complex (then say a TR) engine set up, will probably be essential -

    say about $2K to $4K on average per year.
