    Over at Target today, had to buy Kleenex for my cold (how's that for a mundane reason). Decided to try to find the 1:64 HotWheels 575 GTC, which they had, and I looked just to see what they might have in a larger scale.

    I found several Maisto "Assembly Line" kits, 1:24 scale. They had red and yellow 355 spiders, and yellow Enzos. Quality looks good, though I haven't opened the box yet (I got a 355 spider).

    I bought the Enzo, quality was so bad I put it back in the box and stuck it in a draw........

    Quality is pretty poor, but I guess what can you expect for that price (although I think the Mattel HW 1/18's sell for near that price at target too).

    Watch out, the floor/undertray doesn't really fit and kind of dangles or hangs out on the 355.

    Just got it put together--I don't think the quality is that bad. I would consider it slightly below the Hotwheels models (which are 19 bucks and up). It compares well to some 1:43 I've seen. It took a touch of persuading with a heat gun and a file, but the undertray fits well without dangling, the doors close completey, etc. The front Ferrair badge, rear Ferrari lettering are good. Pininfarina side labels are a little misaligned. Anyway, for 13 bucks it was fun to assemble--I certainly have spent way more for way less enjoyment.

    Having said that, if you are looking for Exoto quality--not even close.

    Hey, i'd like to buy the ones you unhappy folks have, if you're willing to part with them...

    i think the quality is great and haven't had a problem putting ANY of them together... For the record, i have both Enzos, both 355s, both Maranellos and both F50s... Never had any trouble with any of them...
