Just a quick note to let you all know about my experience at CC.

Like others, I've had good/bad experiences at various dealers.
I decided to try out Classic Coach. I've heard mainly good stories about them (a couple of bad *after* I dropped my car off...but none that would have turned me away from the service dept.).
I made arrangements with them, they had the car for about a month 1/2 with my blessing with a drop-date of when it had to be ready (3/11 - the aniversary run). In a nutshell, I dealt with Mayeur with no problems. Our agreement was he contact me with any problems encountered and he did. Several times. The price was very good. No problems with the service. Carlos (The mechanic) walked me through all work & parts when I went to pick it up. I asked for all old parts & got *everything* in a box including wrappers. A bit overboard, but fine by me.
While it was in for a major, they also replaced the ball joints, fixed a hot-start problem (Stupid fuel pump), fix/replaced the air-pump rails & exhaust sampling ports and mounted new tires I bought from them on rims I had done by a 3rd party.

I supplied some of my own parts which I've collected over the years. They happily used them. Seems I happen to prefer a red Baldwin filter over a white UFI. 20w50 rather than synthetic too.

BTW : my belts had been replaced (car is now at 56K miles) and no visible sign of damage/wear/age.

So, both FoCNJ and CC are on my A*OK list. FoLI is a little far away for me to try.

I just thought it is fair to write about the good experiences after all the bashing that went on.

    Your mileage may vary.

    Awesome, Clyde!

Glad to see Classic doing great work. How's the car running after the service? Have you had a chance to really get on it?

I've driven it about 200miles so far. No significant power increase/loss. I'll check gas mileage as that should be a good indicator.

As soon as we get our "Anniversary run" going I'll get on it Seems I have to keep up with some 355s & 360s :D

But it is absolutely wonderful not crossing my fingers during a hot-start.

    Fwerrrrff!
