What a fantastic day it was! Incredible group of people and cars..George's collection is simply amazing. Again.. a really fine day,Bill..
MORE MORE!!! Your wife is a SUPER photographer and I KNOW she has more pics than than. ViperSteve is over and he is still waiting to see his car in the pics!!! Yep, a fine day of screwing around with our toys. We were driving back home a bit ago with Rex (Aston) and Fred (Carrera GT). The people were all giving "thumbs up" as we went by. Fred pulled up next to me and, at 80, hits the gas and just pulls away faster than any car I have ever seen. Amazing sound!!! Yep, 49 cars on the day. All nice. Weather was unreal.... Whg needs California and Crystal Cove?? I had a blast. And it won't be the last time we do it..... Now I have to figure out a way to top this one!!!
Bill, Had a great time, it is so wonderful to see an array of cars put together like that. Kudos. Jim

Still bummed that I could not attend (will be at the next one!) But I ended up having a great time expoloring my newly aquired land in the Keweenaw Penn. by Lake Superior. Looks like a first class event Bill, can't wait until the next one. Otherwise till then, see you @ the BRIC. Tom
Bill, As you predicted I too have a tear in my eye for missing the event! Can someone tell me more about this guy with all the cars? Last year at the BRIC I sat next to a guy at the pool who had on a "Silkcut Jaguar" shirt. When I saw the actual car in the pics I'm guessing it's him... maybe late 50's early 60's, gray hair, english accent??
Nahh. Darker hair. Slight beard. He just collects cars that are pretty famous. He will be running that car at the BRIC and is thinking about actually RACING it there. I would be amazed. He is an AWESOME car fan. He buys em, and then races them so the rest of us can hear them. Truly awesome. Beats having them sit and rot in a museum while we wonder what they sounded like going around the track.
Sorry I missed it Bill. But guessing from the wonderful pictures, I doubt one extra car would have done much. Did George buy some new toys? I might have to plan a solo visit/sales presentation if Mr. Celebrity is free. RocketBoy
Celebrity?? Nahhh. I am more of a master of self promotion.... ;-) Yeah, when are you coming through town??
Yeah that's his red one and I don't know of any stories with that one. Although, I am not sure I have ever even asked about it. He does have a plum colored old one with a LOT of HP and has been fully redone to have all the amenities of a new car....AC, power steering, etc.
