Just got my 99 355 back from WWC. Major w/ belts and a clutch were done. The work was done expertly, as expected, but what I want to post here is the whole experience with this dealership and the people there.
I found the car in Houston, had it PPIed there and found several things that needed to be done on it. At that time I knew I wanted an authorized FNA dealer to do the major on it, but also kept my options open on an independent shop. I had a choice of Algar, Mario in Shrewsbury, Classic Coach and WWC.
I talked to all of them and Mario I found to be a rip off, Algar would not commit even after I faxed them an 11 page report from Houston, Classic coach was very pleasant and helpful as was Jim Murphy @ WWC.
I decided to go with Jim @ WWC for several reasons
    1. Reputation on this site (most important)
    2. First hand recommendation from my neighbors
    3. Personal conversations with Jim numerous times and his willingness to provide price quotes and help sort out what the repairs of all the other minor items would cost so that I can deduct them from purchase price.
    4. They pick up and deliver in an inclosed truck even on weekends and evenings.
Once I got the car and needed to set up the service I called them, but Jim was off that day and I got Justin Stewart to set everything up and see my car thru the service. I found Justin to be incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and patient with all my novice concerns.
When the car goes in for Major and a clutch, there may be other expenses that a shop which is not reputable may do just to make more money, these guys never did that. They checked the water pump, the belt tensioners and the throwout baring in the clutch- if they wanted to they could have told me that those things need replacing, but they took the high road and adjusted the tensioners. Also at no additional charge adjusted minor things like gas cap door, hood latches and even programmed new set of remotes.
I guess I did not expect such professionalism and customer care from a Ferrari dealer. There are many posts on this site about problems w/FNA shops so I thought this experience needed to be posted. Not all dealers are created equal. From prices for parts (cheapest of any authorized dealer) to the way they treat you there is none better IMHO.(and I am difficult to please because I expect the best out of people especially in such a high end service industry). WWC, Jim, Justin, and the rest of people there delivered service that should set the standard for all Ferrari dealerships and service providers.
    Thanx to all those guys!

I am very happy to hear that your experience was so good. My car is currently at WWOC for a 30k and I am certain that it is in good hands. I've also heard very good things about Jim and Justin and the rest of the gang and that is why I went with them.

Wow, sounds like a great garage. Your car was already amazing looking, I can't wait to see it again now that it's in perfection condition.

I just received my car back from WWOC. They had to do some fabrication work for an A/C part no longer available and Justin really went the distance to make sure this was done right.

    Update!!

I just got my car back from WWOC. Jim and Justin took great care of me. The car was done early and it's running beautifully. I would definitely recommend their service dept. to anyone. :)

My experience with WWOC was not good. Jim Murphy is a good guy and fixed all of my problems, but Justin just did not give a s**t. I do not think I will ever send my car there again.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil service and to have a Tubi installed. The scheduled pickup was for 8:00AM on a Wednesday. The car was picked up at 5:30PM and no one ever bothered to call to say that they would be late. I put in 3 calls to WWOC only to have none of them returned. I was told I would have the car back early Friday morning. Friday morning came and went and at 4:00PM I still did not have my car. I left 2 more messages which were not returned. I finally reached Justin at around 5:00PM who told me that they didn't work on the car because they didn't have time and I would get it back sometime the following week. I told him that was unacceptable. The car was worked on Saturday morning and returned 3 hours after the stated time. The interior had grease on the dash, door panels and seats and the new Tubi had a major exhaust leak on the passenger side which was very noticeable once the car was started up. The clamp where the Tubi meets the exhaust pipe was so loose, I could turn it with my fingers. They also did not return my stock exhaust (which had only 500 miles on it). I called Justin and his response to all of this was "what do you want me to do" (in a very sarcastic tone). I told him that I would get better service from a Hyundai dealer then what WWOC was giving...

I demanded to speak to Jim who had the car picked up the following Monday morning and returned Wednesday evening (a day after it was promised). The interior was cleaned and the Tubi tightened but I still have not received my stock exhaust. I was told ("Oh, you really want that back??")

It's Ferrari of Long Island for me from now on....

I have heard mostly negative stories about WWOC and Ferrari of LI. Classic Coach is a good choice in my opinion.

I bought a new 360 from FOLI. Much nicer people than the salespeople at WWOC. Frank (from Classic Coach) is one of my neighbors. He is a great guy, but I hate taking my car to Elizabeth for work. FOLI (and WWOC) offer free pick up and delivery at no charge.

I guess it just depends on the mood you catch the dealerships in. I have heard mixed reviews from just about every near-by dealer/repair shop. To eachs own as they say.

I agree. I also need to use a dealership for repairs because the car is under the factory warranty.
