as the race sponsor, I want to thank everyone who participated to make this event possible. It was an incredible race. For those that don't know this was the first FCA sanctioned race in the clubs forty year history. The FCA is now clear to host private ferrari challenge races. The FCA racing rules have been adopted by the national board and are similar to the rules of the PCA. No touching with a thirteen/thirteen rule. Look on this board for upcoming events.

Dam rich that was soo much fun!!! I know I frustrated you. You were clearly faster, but I got some great video by keeping you behind! If you didn't pull such a bad random grip position I would have been toast.

Poor Rich. He was faster all race. He started from behind and then spun while running away with it. But. . . I cant say I'm sad I was in front of the cameras at the right place and right time!!!!

    John,

I had a great time, it wouldn't have been the same if you and I didn't mix it up like that... it was a great experience! I'm sure we'll do it again soon. And thanks for the compliment.

Congratulations on making this a reality!!! I know that lots of effort went into this, and I hope you will make this an annual event, perhaps even moving it around the country. I have thought there should be more of this at the FCA National meet. Road America is coming up for the FCA National meet on July 29-August 2 www.fca2009.com. Any of you guys doing this?

I timed Rich off the video in his 360 CH. He was running a 2:21, 2:22. Not bad!

the white 355, was the car raced very successfully by Ken Rice, the CEO of Enron.

The car was recently purchased by Christopher Sacco. It has been restored to near perfection cosmetically/mechanically. It is now jointly raced by him and Franco Valobra. Franco won the 355 class. The day after winning Franco was driving it to work in New Orleans, where he is using it as a daily driver.

I'll post more pics this week.

Is that a Challenge car or the ALMS car that ran in the 12 Hours?
