Apology in advance if this has already been covered.. I just couldn't find it Where can you find the actual made date/ month plate on the 360?
Hi, Cyt, as Robbie already stated, the plate with the car's date of production is on the driver's side door jamb. But I don't know if cars built for Australia have the data plate with the car's month and year build information. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have you checked the door jamb on the other side? Maybe it's on the passenger's side. Other than that, I don't know where it might be - if the AUS cars even have it. What's your serial number? I can check it against other cars in my database and give you a good idea of when it was built.
I'm sorry, I should've specified - on US cars, it is indeed located on the hinge side of the door jamb. Keep us posted.
Mine is a 2000 Euro spec and it is in the Passenger/ Right hand door jam hinge side. So apparently they put them on either side. The owners manual shows RHS.
Maybe car was hit and quarter panel was changed. You can't duplicate the plate. Maybe now you can but not many shops don't know where to get them. It's a possibility. That would be my guess if you can't find it. A very good guess. R
Non-US cars do not have the plate (or the year in the VIN) - how accurate does the date need to be ? A dealer should be able to look up something for you - for that matter some sort of first registration date should be in the warranty book
Month and year be what I'm after... I bought it second hand so the current dealership will not have the details
Any dealer will have the details. Call parts dept give them the vin and they can tell you when car was built. R
Is the plate on the steering column missing from non-US cars also? Oh, but that plate doesn't have the date of manufacture does it? Alan
I've got feedback from dealer.. The Australian ones are based on compliance date. No make date is disclosed
