I ordered mats from the same guy (Andrew) that F430GT recommends, however since my interior is leather including the wheel well covers, I opted for carpet/CF vs alcantara/CF. I can weigh them when they arrive today (or tomorrow) if you'd like before I install them. On passenger side if you keep extinguisher in place, that'll keep the mat in place. For driver side, it's held in place by industrial Velcro. Onside is sewn into the underside of the mat, then you'd use adhesive back Velcro on the diamond plate floor. It'd be the same for passenger side if you remove the extinguisher. I'll post pics when installed. DL
weight nothing compare to a regular floor mat, probably less than 1 lb for both, ultra light. Notice the floor has a binder shape, the mats don't slip at all.
This is not my car, as we did the audio and radar upgrades for a customer of mine in San Diego... The kicks we make out of aluminum and there we no holes drilled in the installation of the speakers or the panels. Here are some of the pics from the install.... We did the escort 9500 ci radar with the display in the mirror and controller overhead flushed in the console...The subwoofer was hidden inside the dash. That looks cool. Is that a rear view camera? Is it hooked up to the nav system monitor? How much does a set up like costs? Will
Yes, the l/p camera hooks to the kenwood screen and you can manually turn it on and it is automatic when in reverse... PM sent Scott Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could part 19 and 20 be the part you are looking for? Pnr: 81180900 Pnr: 81181000 Found it here: http://eurospares.co.uk /Johan Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks a lot !!! I'm glad that the 16M came standard with these wheel arch covers, exactly what I was looking for. Christmas shopping.
I will also like them, any idea of the cost? This is my Macarbon temp cabin sensor cover and Hill Engenering 3rd pedal, the alcantara covers will look great. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wouldn't it be possible to use the F430 counter part (68507300, 68507400) as a starting point and get some alcantara... The price difference is huge!
I cant see why that wouldn't work. I had an estimate to recover my Scud with Alcantara...everywhere there is currently the tech fabric including the seats...$4000. Not too bad but, I am not going to do it. I like the way it is with the tech fabric. Alcantara is becoming too common and I bet a few years from now fabrics like the tech fabric will be in demand. Look at the new car designers...all using fabrics etc...not leather or alcantara. Besides, I want to keep my Scud OE.
Been talking to Andrew about mats for my Scuderia. The only issue I have, and I thought I read a complaint from another member, is the left side of the driver's side matt does not follow the curves precisely of the fender covers? Has this been fixed?
I have his mats. There is a slight deviation between the curvature of the wheel well and the cutout on the mat. Its not like the mat was cut straight and the arch is curved though. My suggestion is call him, talk to him, make him aware of your concerns (he may even adjust the template). If you feel comfortable, order a set with the understanding that if you don't think the wheel well cutout is correct that you'll return it. Personally, I'm please with the overall quality and look & feel. Cheers, DL
I was confused, I thought his mats were supposed to cover the area that curves up. Thought that area to the right of the driver's wheel well covers was flat, it curves up. Ordered them, they will be here way before I get my car. Might also order a set from Nick's Forza too for normal driving, if they can match the rear 430 Scuderia emblem in place of the horse. 3 weeks to go and counting every day.
So, we *think* the piece of fabric/alcantara that covers the inner wheel arch is called option "BATA" or BATF". And we know it was standard on 16M. So far, so good... I've been trying to find it with no luck. Anywhere. I just got back from my dealer where the parts guy was kind enough to invest the time to track it down. Yes, the part numbers are in the system (under 16M). However, there are ZERO in stock in the US and ZERO at the factory. So, its a special order. Which, of course, is "ferrariese" for "expensive and long wait". How much? Full retail is $2600 each. So, $5200 for the pair. How long? Unclear. Best answer: "A while" (said with a smile). I guess I'm going to have to do without! If anyone has another source or idea...please share!
I ordered them about a month ago. Initial ask was $2250 Australian each, after some negotiation we agreed on $1850 each. Made to order as stated, wait by experience is about 3 months.
Thanks. Yes, a discount from full retail should be expected (my dealer said as much too). But he didn't venture a guess on time... Did they tell you or do you know how they install? Is it glue, or what? Also, did you have to specify the stitching color and material color or what all did you have to specify? Thanks!
I'm leaning towards that custom aftermarket panel with the high quality focal speakers, a bigger sub in my rear stock console, and a new head unit worth it of my car, with a foldable screen and a Navi in case I need directions. One of those new miniature Rockford Fosgate amplifiers (they weigh less than 1 lb, and produce 400 watts).
They clip under other interior panels I believe; but I will work it out when they arrive. You have to specify material and stitching colours etc when you order; but your dealer can look those up using your cars serial number anyway. My only concern is whether you need to have the full sill panel covering for it to clip under at the base of the door area. Mine has the carbon entry kick plates but not the carbon panel that runs from the top of the sill into the area immediately next to the seat. I wasn't planning on getting those.
We have Alcantara in Stock to make the Scuderia Floor mats, many options available for the finishes. We can add leather, Carbon fiber style trim and color coded stitching to match the interior options. PM to spec a set! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
