Seems everyone are running gills on their cars for Malaysia. Rightly so considering the heat at that place. I know Merc are running some as well but have no pic in Malaysia, but I do have a pic of the gills I'm sure they will use which they had on hand in Australia.

Rain on the lookout as always. Malaysia weather is impossible to predict more than 12 hours in advance.

This track was made for Mclaren and Mercedes, if Merc have their tires under better control anyway. Red Bull will suffer here, as will Ferrari am I expect Lotus to be more competitive than both.

    Anyway, predictions.

    qualifying:
    Hamilton
    Button
    Schumacher
    Rosberg
    Vettel
    Raikonnen
    Grosjean
    Alonso
    Webber

    race:
    Hamilton
    Schumacher
    Button
    Vettel
    Rosberg
    Raikonnen
    Alonso
    Webber

Obviously rain makes this race and qualifying very unpredictable. That said, here my 2 kopeks:

    1 Vettel
    2 Hami
    3 Button
    4 Kimi
    5 Alonso

Assuming there will be some wet phase I put the rainmasters on top.

Can't you just be slightly realistic and put a Benz in the top 5? You don't even have to type his name, you can just say 'Benz' or whatever. And as for rainmaster? Come on, Schu should be right at the top of that list. I know I know...

I wasn't trying to pour gas on the fire. This is my honest opinion.

If it was a totally dry qualifying and race I would put a Benz (or even MS) in the top 5, but not with the conditions we're going for.

Schumacher was the rainmaster of all rainmaster. Not anymore. Just my opinion. Laugh at me when MS passes my top 5 in the rain.

This is anyone's race, because I think it is going to rain.

    I'm saying...

    Hamilton
    Vettel
    Rosberg
    MS
    Button
    FA
    Kimi

    ...but who knows.

True dat, he was good in Montreal.

With intermittent rain all bets are off.

Except that Massa will spin :)

Cannot see why Hamilton will not get pole, and go on to win this one.
    with Button a close 2nd.

Then it gets hard.....I cop out Vettel.

After Rosberg's lightning quick start in Australia I suspect Michael might have something to say about the McLaren's getting to turn 1 first. If he does get the lead there I think it will be a tire issue for him as the race continues and that eventually the McLaren's will have the edge. It would not surprise me at all if they finish the way that they start. Kimi will be good for 5th or so which is disappointing as without his penalty he would probably be a podium contender. One of the RedBull drivers might have the speed to sneak onto the podium in Jenson's place - we will have to see.

Rain changes everything and I give the edge to Schumi and Button if he is still at the front.
