Hey, In a (probably vain ) attempt at avoiding the usual plethora of "my DVR missed it" posts here's the complete schedule - No excuses! All times Pacific. Lifted from Bernie's site BTW. Cheers, Ian Image Unavailable, Please Login
Curious, but in contrast to last week, it does not appear that NBCSports is going to show FP1. It does not list FP1 at the time you mentioned. The first listing is for 2:00 AM on Friday morning and just says "practice." On Saturday, wee-hours, however, they list both practice and qualifying. Perhaps they are showing FP2 and FP3, and then qualifying, since last week's FP1 was kind of dead ?
I tried watching NBC's broadcast of Melbourne and it was too painful for me... Praise the Lord for SkyGo.
TBH, I hadn't checked the listing when I posted the above Sure seems that way. As I said before, a pretty good way to go IMO; FP1 is generally nothing more than a track cleaning exercise anyway. Certainly much rather see FP2 & 3. Cheers, Ian
From the looks of that forecast, get ready for lots of delays, cancellations, and single file laps behind a safety car this weekend! Should be fun! The "golden age."
Bwah, bwah, bwah! I honestly dont know why some of you guys watch; - It sucks. - They're all *******. - The cars are too slow. - The racing's boring. - There's no overtaking (or too much if you're not a DRS fan!) - Whining, *****ing & moaning all the friggin' time! Maybe you should follow a different sport? Cheers, Ian
Well, last week's qualifying was a complete joke, but the race made up for it. What I said above isn't an opinion, it's fact. If it rains there will be delays, possible cancellations, and single file laps behind the safety car. It's the nature of modern F1, similar to how they can't build a track these days without miles of concrete runoff. While lots of things about the sport these days aren't what they used to be, I still enjoy it. So I'll watch, because I like cheering for Ferrari and the drama of the F1 season. However, I have every right to criticize what things that I don't agree with, take it or leave it, no need to jump on me for it or try to put words in my mouth. I know you think it's some kind of unholy ordeal to criticize anything about the sport, or that any affection for aspects of years past is an incurable case of "rose tinteds," which is fine too. BTW: F1 is far from the only sport I follow... For instance...it's MARCH MADNESS time!
