Little bit of everything here. Mechanical, aero, has it all. Lots of heat, Red Bull will do very well here. Qualy is advantage W04 here wet or dry IMO. Two DRS zones.

Wow. You clearly rate Rosberg if you think he can clone himself and bag two spots in qualy!

I don't think Lotus will be best here.

I am rooting for Alonso to win again at Sepang this year. It will cap off his 200th GP very nicely!

Perhaps the same 3 as on the Aussie podium with the order reversed? Felipe to do even better here and could upset the podium applecart I just gave.

Interesting. I would actually say that both Red Bull and Mercedes are going to have a tough time here, there's a few turns with lots of loading on the tires which will increase wear significantly.

RB and Merc didn't do that great on their tires in Australia... Temperature this and that, sure, but the conditions where the same for everyone.

Yup; there are a lot of pics of Axl in the Mclaren pits/on the grid with kimi from a few years ago. Kimi has said that he has Axl at his house for dinner etc

Everyone's suspension is different and handles tires differently. Malaysia will paint a very different picture. Lotus simply proved it can heat its tires during the cold. Let's see what they can do with everyone seeing adequate tire heat or of Lotus overheat their tires (doubt that though). Everyone will have their hands full with this being a proper complicated circuit for sure though.

I know I have said on many occasions I never make predictions until after qualifying but seeing how easy the Lotus chassis is on its tires and how Kimi set fastest lap in the last few laps of the Australian GP I'm hoping he takes another win. I had a feeling he was going to be a major contender this season and hope any revisions they make will not disrupt the chassis in any negative form or fashion.

Lotus definitely seems like a favorite, but I refuse to place them atop anything until I see how they perform on track tamps above 32C. Australia saw half those track temps so we never really saw everyone putting their best foot forward. Advantage Lotus for low track temps though for sure!

Just to let u guys know...it's been raining here. Mostly between 2pm-6pm.

The showers are heavy and sudden. But not long. 20 mins tops. I'll most likely be at Sepang this weekend. Will keep everyone updated on the weather.

    Goodness gracious!..... :)

The only guys you don't seem to have predicted for the win this week are Merc! And I'm pretty sure that's just because I cant find the quote! :D

Sorry, couldn't resist..... I guess if you cover enough bases you've gotta get it right! ;)

    No offense intended.

    Cheers,
    Ian
