    I have a Mac running OS X and want to download and run MAME for classic arcade ROM emulators.

    Course I dont have a clue how to do this... I downloaded the software from Mamedev.org but cant figure out how to run it or install it...Im a computer idiot and need very simple step by step instructions.

    Anyone good with this kind of thing and can give me those ?

    If you went to MAMEdev chances are you have the Windows version or the source code files.
    What you need is
    macmame.org

    Never ran it on the Mac, so I don't know what to expect, all MAME'ing(sounds odd) I've ever done was with the Win side of things.

    Let me know how it goes, I have yet to run MAME on my Mac.

    Surprised how little I hear the term MAME bandied about - I love taking in a game or 2 of Battlezone during lunch.

    I went to macmame.org and got it downloaded and working within 5 minutes..very easy.
