Minor damage shouldn't be a problem to fix. Anyways this guy need a little time in a cell to clear his mind up.

The guy has not been convicted of any charges yet. Maybe everyone should take that into consideration before posting such judgements....

Let's wait until all the facts become known, and evaluate from them.

Harsh?? NO!! I have been in the fire service for about 17 years now and I see people that are involved in accidents while under the influence way too often. So I say F*ck him, while he obviously has the money for the car, he deserves time in a cell for driving drunk. He is lucky that he didn't kill somebody,(this time).

What does drunk driving mean ?? Does it mean the guy was completely trashed or only that his alcohol level was higher than the legal requirement , in which case it could mean the guy wasnt drunk at all ..

My interpretation of drunk driving is driving after drinking and you are above the legal limit. And obviously this does have to be proved in court.

Frankly, I'd like to see 7 day jail terms made mandatory for 1st time DUI. There is absolutely no excuse for getting behind the wheel when you're blowing over .08, none at all. First time, 7 days in jail, $1000 fine, and $100/day impound fee. Second offense, 30 days in jail, $5000 fine, forfeit vehicle, 6 month lic. suspension, 1 year of probation with alcohol monitoring. Third time, a year in jail, $25,000 fine, forfeit vehicle, permanent lic. revocation without possibility of reinstatement, and lifetime probation subject to alcohol/drug testing. Get any more after that and the jail stacks up, 4th time is 2 years, 5th time is 3 years, and the fine goes up 100% as well, 4th time $50,000, 5th time $100,000... won't stop them, but it will get them off our roads longer when they are caught... and that's only because we're too civilized to just shoot them for the second offense...

Exactly! So, for everyone here who is saying, right now, that the driver of this Lambo should be thrown in the electric chair, wait until all the facts become known, and all the results are in. Then and only then can a proper punishment be administered.

I believe that this country is too soft when it comes to punishment for dui/dwi. So many people have no problem going out and having alot to drink and then driving home. Two months ago there was a fatal accident involving girls that had attended a high school graduation party, 4 of the 5 in the car died. My thing is where does this end?

I agree, unfortunately, if he had the funds to buy the car, he'll have the funds to buy his way out of jail. I remember a hockey pro killing his friend in his 360 a couple of years back, and he is still playing, never did time for it.

The one fact that can't be disputed is that he left the scene of an accident, so that alone means his judgment was impaired if not other things as well.

    You might just be right.

But maybe the guy was going for help??

All I'm saying is, wait until all the facts come in and then make a fair logical judgement based on the facts. News media love to hype stories like this up, with it involving a $400k Lambo and alcohol (allegedly) being involved.

On the Internet you are convicted by every ivory tower, anonymous, wanna-be bada$$, before the real story ever comes out. It is almost sickening.
