manatino adjustable noise

Has anyone noticed that on a F430 you can increase or decrease the amount of annoying rattling that appears to emanate from behind the dash it may just be mine but.... try it.

In ice mode the rattle is at it worst sounds like a loose cable rattling against the bulkhead under the dash.
As you switch toward wet, sport mode the noise is reduced slightly, in sport still there, in race a hint and almost gone, AST off no noise.
it's been driving me mad.

A recent service revealed it to be front suspension related to which Ferrari acknowledges but says not every one notices and say does not effect the cars handling?

obviously something that controls the damping via the manatino.
They are happy to change out the front suspension units under warranty but wont cover if the noise still persists.

Anyone Else experienced it?
