Guys I recently bought a CS and I noticed that when maneuvering at full, and close to full lock, there are knocks that come through the steering wheel. Yesterday when i took it out in the rain and the ground was more damp it was substantially more noticeable and i was squirming when I turned! Now I know that this can be normal as I have it on my 308 but on the CS it feels a lot more pronounced and harsher. Is this normal?

Sounds fairly normal and is a characteristic of lightweight cars with wide tyres. Google Ackerman effect if you want to know more.

Thanks for confirming :) Good to know but I had not expected it to be so pronounced in the strad!

Could be ball joints, typical of 360/430s...Hill does really good ones.
The original ones are quite weak and don't last very long, they should almost be considered as maintenance items.

Time will tell, but if the knocks increase over time, then it will most certainly be them.

Thanks Thrasher. I'll ask the dealer to check...
