The beauty of it is - it was the Centerfielder's first game in the Big League's ...and the Kid, oh, the Kid who got the high five and has got a high to last a lifetime... and the Fans who got to see it Roared ... and Baseball Fans present and former forgot about Barry Bonds' indictments... and Manny pushed Baseball into the 21st Century on so many levels, some hotdogging with a little extra relish 'cause this guy who ain't exactly skinny likes to have Fun and share it with the Fans, some seats filled in stadiums everywhere that might have gone unsold, everybody putting a little extra Oomph into the 7th Inning Stretch when Take Me Out To The Ballgame is the only song on people's lips...
